ABOUT THE TOSSERS

Formed on the South Side of Chicago in 1993, The Tossers are one of the longest-running and most respected Celtic punk bands in America. Blending traditional Irish instrumentation and themes with the raw energy of punk rock, the band has built a loyal following through relentless touring, raucous live shows, and an unwavering commitment to their roots.

Drawing comparisons to bands like The Pogues and Flogging Molly, The Tossers stand out with a uniquely gritty, working-class sensibility. Their music often explores themes of Irish pride, personal struggle, politics, and celebration delivered with a mix of fiery passion and sharp storytelling. Frontman Tony Duggins leads the charge with vocals, mandolin, and lyrics that balance rebellion with reflection, backed by a tight-knit lineup of talented musicians on fiddle, tin whistle, banjo, drums, and bass.

With over a dozen releases under their belt, including standout albums like The Valley of the Shadow of Death, Agony, and Smash the Windows, The Tossers have cemented their place as icons in the Celtic punk scene. They’ve shared stages with acts like Dropkick Murphys, The Reverend Horton Heat, and The Real McKenzies, bringing their fierce Chicago spirit to audiences across the U.S. and abroad.

Proudly blue-collar, proudly Irish, and proudly loud, The Tossers continue to deliver music that’s as heartfelt as it is hard-hitting.
